This project was born from the trend on the west coast where legalization comes to town and the medical systems that have been in place get eroded out of usefulness and prohibition 2.0 begins in earnest. Oregon and Washington lost their medical programs and California is breaking away from the 501 system of non-profit collectives at a break-neck speed.

This project would work with grassroots communities to find the deeply hidden stories that are surely taking place within the geo-region known as The State of Jefferson that comprises Southern Oregon and Northern California. Alliances with factions and groups who have found the trend towards legalization to be untenable and have opted out. Alternatively, it would pivotal to showcase many of the broken communities that have been ripped apart by legalization and the division between philosophical factions of people - some who will abide by any rules for the opportunity to profiteer, and those others who will stand by their principles and remain unaffiliated while also not modifying their behavior of growing copious amounts of outdoor / greenhouse cannabis and privateering it wherever the market is best.
