do you support the formation of the State of Jefferson, and why, or why not?
 
This question was posed in an online forum.  It's a perfectly fine question, but deserves an authentic answer and not something boilerplate or reactionary. 
 
I personally do not feel any "formation" of any "state" can suffice under any name, whether Jefferson or otherwise.  Why I feel this will be outlined in this reply.
